Every December the LNA works in cooperation with Completely Kids (formerly Camp Fire) to raise funds from individuals and businesses within the Leavenworth neighborhood for Christmas Cheer. The money is used to put together a bag of goodies for every child at Jackson Elementary School. The bags generally include things like new books, fruit, snacks, school supplies, mittens and health care items. It's a wonderful way to care for the children in our neighborhood. Any funds remaining go into a special fund called the Jim Krin Jackson School Fund to be used to help meet the extra needs of the school throughout the year.
