The Urban Village Corporation is hard at work rehabbing old apartments within the Leavenworth Neighborhood. This is a project currently in the works located at Jackson and 32nd St.

What do you do with an ugly blank wall on the side of a building? You turn it over to high school art students through the Kent Bellows Foundation to create a world of color! Check out this awesome mural on the west side of Family Dollar located on Leavenworth between 35th & 36th.
Jackson Elementary School students livened up the back wall of the Inflight Productions building which backs up to a Jackson playground. The kids now have a fun, colorful environment that they can be proud of!
Neighbors admire the new mural on the wall of the handball court at Dewey Park. The mural, named "Velocity", was designed and painted by local artist, Les Bruning, last summer for the LNA. The mural was funded through grants from the City of Omaha and the Mutual of Omaha Foundation.
