Christmas Cheer

Every December the LNA works in cooperation with Completely Kids to raise funds from individuals and businesses within the Leavenworth neighborhood for Christmas Cheer. The money is used to put together a bag of goodies for every child at Jackson Elementary School. The bags generally include things like a new book, school supplies, mittens, and health care items. It’s a wonderful way to care for the children in our neighborhood. Any funds remaining go into a special fund called the Jim Krin Jackson School Fund to be used to help meet the extra needs of the school throughout the year.

Chili Feed

During February’s meeting, LNA members are invited to participate in the annual chili feed!

Spring Clean Up

Each Spring, LNA participates in the city-wide “Dumpster Day”. It gives neighbors a wonderful opportunity to come together to not only clean out and discard all the old junk around their own homes, but to collect and clean up trash and discarded items in the alleys and streets within our neighborhood. Participation is free. Volunteering to help out is much appreciated!

Neighborhood Picnic

Every August, LNA hosts a member picnic at Leavenworth Park. This is a great opportunity to get together with neighbors, share food, and enjoy the great outdoors!

GameQuest: Destination Midtown

GameQuest: Destination Midtown is a day full of play, puzzles, and friendly competition right in the heart of Midtown Crossing. Gamers of all kinds can join in the fun — from casual board game fans to those ready to test their skills in our Ticket to Ride Tournament. Along the way, solve puzzles and meet fellow game lovers from around the community.
